A Call to Prayer for Our Territory is a response to the continuous need for prayer and supplication for our territory and our nation as a whole. As you'd agree, our nation as a whole is at a very critical point; and there is a dire need for fervent, effectual and continuous prayer for her.
This gathering is calling Church Leaders/ Ministers, worship leaders/teams and the local church congregation to jointly seek the Lord through worship and prayer for our place of habitation and influence; our local community and our nation.
The prayer agenda for this gathering would be led by Church Leaders/Ministers. There will be no set prayer agenda, as we would want to give Leaders/Ministers the freedom to express in prayer what God has laid on their hearts. Worship teams represented would lead in sessions of songs of worship at intervals. We will conclude the evening by sharing in Communion.
It is also hoped that there would be some links forged and information shared between churches on the different outreach programmes that churches or other Christian charities are currently implementing in our community, to encourage involvement.
